Mohammed Siraj RULED OUT? GT Pacer Suffers Nasty Shoulder Injury During Qualifier 2 vs RR

Mohammed Siraj, the Gujarat Titans star pacer, suffered a freak injury as he might have pulled the shoulder of his bowling arm in the third consecutive over for him within the powerplay.

The Gujarat Titans are taking on the Rajasthan Royals in the Qualifier 2 fixture of IPL 2026. Mohammed Siraj was handed the new ball by skipper Shubman Gill as the Titans had a destined plan against the young batting sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.

The Incident

Mohammed Siraj bowled the three odd overs in that RR powerplay. Since his first over, he did not stop hitting the hard length and was only looking to bolster his pace. Siraj was excellent against the pocket dynamite who has been so explosive at this venue.

However, after being taken for runs in his second over, he returned with another bouncer in the third over, and in the attempt to do so, he pulled his shoulder muscles. It was an injury scare as the physios rushed onto the ground.

However, the good news remained that he completed the rest of the over and bowled several good deliveries according to his team’s strategy against the RR youngster. Hence, indicating that it was not an injury of an extent to rule him out.
